you are bidding on two vintage postcards from the 1913ish era Fort Sam Houston San Antonio Texas . The Clock Tower in the Quadrangle and a Machine gun in action. I;m Dating this to 1913ish Thats when Grandpa in-listed and sent there for training before being sent to the Philippines . Per Grandpa .. He trained as a loader and spotter for a Machine Gun like this He Carried the tripod and ammunition . In the years he was in the Philippines... He never fired the weapon in anger .. Grandpa was discharged from the Army In 1916 ish and did not serve in WWI . Having no camera Grandpa Purchase Postcards to keep as mementos . These are not Mint There is no writing on the back side The corners are scuffed .There is a minor crease in the upper right hand corner of the Machine gun Card .
