Thank you for considering dead accurate, power running and super collectible over 118 years old Vanguard by Waltham railroad grade movement, 16 size, open face, 23 jewels, adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, Model 1899, raised gold jewel settings, gold train, all-gold balance screws, diamond balance cap jewel, ¾ nickel plate, stem wind and lever set.
This superlative Waltham Vanguard movement is in top working order, with a dead flat and true balance whe...el that has a wide, fine arc and a strong, steady beat.
The movement smooth winds, starts up on my 4th wind with no jiggling, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time well within the railroad-required 30 seconds per week. This collectible Waltham Vanguard is looking great, with a bright and clean oxide-free and mirrory winding wheels, spotless correct nickel plates.
The dial shows very faint hairline around 6 o'clock.The movement is cased in a new custom made stainless steel wristwatch case, with black leather strap.The lug size is 22 mm. The total lenght of the strap and case is 260 mm (around 10 inch).
Condition - please take a look to the pictures.The movement is in good working order, runs strong and keeps time within 24 hours
