Rare Antique Twin Fusee Bracket Clock By John Cartel. C1840. Artitechtural designed oak cased clock with two pitched roof tower on side. The silvered engraved dial is signed by Cartel and it has got hand painter chapter ring yellow and red coloured on dial. Double fusee movement. Perfect working order. Original large and heavy pendulum. The black plate is signed as well by Cartel. Vety good condition. Only few chips around dial but not visible when the door is closed. Also the back doo...r lock missing. Front glass door has got a key. Lovely clock from one of the best English clockmaker. Bell striking movement. Strikes only a full hours the number of hours on a massive bell. Very loud when is striking. Amazing rare clock. 56 cm high.
