Bundeswehr aluminium canteen with green nylon cover from late 80s early 90s West Germany.
Excellent condition, showing wear and paint chipping from light use or storage.It is complete, with all the bits, pieces, snaps, clips, and leather intact and functional.
Green Pouch is a pre-Flecktarn Oddity. Call it a transition item. It is made exactly like the late flecktarn pouches with the "Modern" West German attachment system.It is not a reproduction. (I have severa...l other pouches with dates and labels in various stages of damage)
