SUBJECT: The one-of-a-kind Dornier DO X, aka The Flying Boat, is floating in the water. It was a German-made plane that was eventually shot down on March 24, 1945 in a lake in Poland after the Germans tried to evacuate while the Russians were moving in on them. This is an original photo. It also comes with the signed business card of Maurice Dornier, owner of the company that made the plane in 1924....

SIZE: The photo is 5 by 8 inches.
CONDITION: The photo has mild wear. The business card has mild rust mark where the original paper clip attached it to the photo.
