Vintage Iomega Clik! External Drive for PC (tested, works) for 40 MB Clik! disks. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This listing includes BOTH the Pocket Zip drive AND the external docking unit which connects to a PC via USB. Original box for the docking unit is included. OK the box is not in very good condition... Pocket Zip in a handsome metal case.
Comes with two 40 MB Clik! disks, one of which has some software. Iomega software (o...n CD) is included. Very cool system.
This system was very clever at the time; the Pocket Zip "drive" could be slipped into a PCMCIA slot in a laptop machine, and then you could insert the 40 MB Clik! disk. But very few laptops have a PCMCIA slot anymore.
The power cable and USB cable are included. The system was tested and works as designed -- both writing to the disk and reading from the disk.
To be clear, the Pocket Zip drive is the active ingredient -- the external system is a subsitute for a PCMCIA slot. You need both unless you have a PCMCIA slot somewhere...
