Ninth-plate, 1840s daguerreotype, portrait painting of a woman.
This dag was formerly owned by the estate of descendants of
President Woodrow Wilson. Although this woman is not identified,
I believe it's a good possibility that she could be Marion Woodrow,
the president's maternal grandmother, or one of her siblings...
more research will be needed, but based on the other photo content
of the estate, I am pretty confident she was some relative.&n...bsp;
The dag is unsealed with a tarnish ring and some some scratches.
The case is complete but the covers are separated and there is
normal wear to the leather.
