Early Single Finger Brass Longcase Grandfather Clock Dial ADAM COSTEN KIRKHAM, a very rare dial and well worth a movement. Adam Costen is listed in 'Lancashire Clocks and Clockmakers by Brian Loomes': 'Costen, Adam Kirkham. Several brass dial clocks noted of c1760 - 80'.Very nice antique dial featuring a date mouth and the maker 'ADM COSTEN KIRKHAM' and some lovely engravings. The dial has lovely maiden head spandrels to each of the corners. The dial is set out in Roman numer...als.CONDITION: There are two holes to the centre of the dial and the dial would benefit from cleaning please judge the condition and study photos carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.It measures 11" tall, by 11" wide.Dial N30 COSTEN KIRKHAM .
