The Salver measures 3/4 inch in height and 16" X 13-1/8" in diameter. The Sugar Bowl measures 3-1/2 inches in height to the top pf the Nephrite Jade handle and 3 inches to the top of the bowl.  ...;The creamer measures 5-1/4 inches to the top of the Nephrite Handle and 5 inches to the top of the spout. The Handles of the creamer and sugar bowl are made of beautifully hand carved Nephrite Jade Dragon statue belt hooks.
The tray /salver has as part of the handle, hand carved, nephrite jade disks. The inserted Jade disks on the tray are embezzled front and back what appears to be an Asian motif with stylized characters and plants.
All three pieces are marked with the makers initials, RMW for Richard M. Woods & Co., sterling. They are also marked with the retailer, Hardy & Hayes Co.
The salver is engraved: Marguerite Fuller 1936. The creamer and sugar bowl are engraved 1936.
The tray inself is trimmed throught the cicumference with a raised undulating motif that carries through both the creamer and the sugar bowl. This piece was created in 1936 but the jade handles on both the creamer and sugar probably pre-date to China at a much earlier era.
This set is in fabulous near pristine condition and obviously done as one of a kind commission. Museum quality and waiting for a collector who appreciates the finest offering.

Hardy and Hayes, Jeweler, was founded in 1887 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From 1887 to 1950, the firm was under the directorship of the Hardy family, was then sold to the Morrow family in 1950 and after several change of hands in the 1980's, was purchased by the Betres family, with Mark Betres now serving as President. The firm, since it's inception, is located in downtown Pittsburgh.
