Vintage elliptical / oval English bookmark dates from the year 2000. Large hallmarks ( for Ron Carr, 925, Sheffield, lion passant, the year 2000). The maker is RC in a hexagon (for R. Carr of Sheffield, a manufactory established in 1977 by Ron Carr specializing in classic and contemporary silverware, gifts and accessories). Approximately 3 1/8" without tassel. A bit more cleaning couldn't hurt. Note: the reflective surfaces made this very difficult for me ... to photograph. It is much nicer "in real life". I 3274
