Egyptian revivalCleopatra style gold tone fringe necklace measuring 17 inches in length. Thiselegant piece fastens with a fish hook clasp where you thread throughand push in to click closed. I'm sure many people will be familiar with this old style fastener but if you aren't familiar with them, they are commonly found on pearl necklaces. The clasp consists of an oval-shaped element (the "fish") and a "hook" which is mostly concealed in the clasp when closed. Once closed you press the ...two ends of the hook together to open and reverse the process to slide out. Hope my pictures 5 and 6 give an indication of the simplicity of the working of the fish hook clasp and these clasps are very secure. Necklace will come with large silver grey organza jewellery pouch as shown, carefully packaged with tissue and within a bubble wrap envelop.
