WENGER SWITZERLAND - (CROSSBOW) WENGERINOX
This Wenger features remarkably nice scales, a very beautiful metal inlay "Crossbow Suisse" shield (third on Wenger progression of shields), expo...sed rivets and an intact bail. The toothpick and tweezers do not look like they are original to this knife, even if they fit perfectly. Cosmetics: 70 years oldbeauty! This knife shows that it has been little used. Even the blades look like sporting their originaledge and don't look that they had been sharpened BUT the small "Clip Point" blade was abused at some point and it "lost" part of its tip, as clearly shown. I would be able to repair it to almost perfection by shortening it but preferred to leave it alone, unmolested. As per overall wear, most of it is reserved to the reflective surface of the tools (slight!) and thecellidor scales (very little!). And there's corrosion to the liner besides the corkscrew, as shown. Please check out the clear pictures because they tell the story. Mechanics: Works very fine!
