Superb vintage Chinesehand carved peacock made of water buffalo horns.This is an absolutelyfantastic hand carved peacock with lifelike resemblance to a real peacock.The direction of thefeathers, the wings and the long tail with the spots are all carved beautifully.The feathers on the headare fine and lifelike.Red glass eyes.The stand is also madeof water buffalo horn. It has a carved cloud design on both sides.Vintage condition.
