Original Description:
You are bidding on a Coleman model 247 lantern dated 2-47.  Made to burn kerosene rather than Coleman fuel or white gas.  This lantern has one shallow dent on the front of the fount.  Has the original green block letter logo globe.  The vent is still pretty good but has a few chips.  The seafoam fount and dark green vent was a common color combination in the late 40's.  All I did was wipe the dust off.  I have not tested this item in any way but I see... no reason why it could not be made to work as intended.
