Up for bid is a really cool watch. It is a C. H. Meylan or Badollet pocket watch movement originally made for San Francisco finest jewelry store, A. Andrews “The Diamond Palace”. The case was scrapped years ago when gold prices spiked. I had a custom stainless steel case made to house the movement. The watch runs and is lever set and tells great time for a watch this old. May need an adjustment after it arrives to be more accurate. Lever is located at 22minute position. The would m...ake an excellent addition to your collection or if you have an 14k or 18k gold case to put it in. This is a big watch here are the Measurements:48mm case without crown53mm case with crown44mm wide just the movement16mm case thickness56mm lug to lug long22mm between lugsThe case front and back are plastic crystals. The back crystal has a scratch. It doesn’t hurt anything and can probably be polished out.
