VINTAGE CERAMIC WHITE CHRISTMAS TREE WITH MULTI-COLORED BIRDS LIGHTS
This is a charming Vintage White Ceramic Christmas Tree. The tree has multi-colored birds that sit in holes throughout the tree and shine with the inside light is turned on. The tree has a glittery textured, not a smooth surface. The birds can be removed. There is a hole on top for a star. It is approx 17 inches tall and approx 14 inches wide. It i...s two pieces, the base and the tree itself. The birds are blue, green, yellow, red and clear. This belongs to my mother-in-law who is down-sizing and she has indicated it was a gift from her sister-in-law in the 1970's. Other than that I do not know anything about the casting mold and I do not see any markings. We have confirmed the light works and I do not see any cracks or breaks. One bird appears to be missing but the tree is quite full so it could be turned to the back or another bird could be repositioned. Some shelf wear on the bottom - see photos for condition.
