Charming long thin Conklin flattop in black chased hard rubber with gold filled trim. Nice dark color, clear imprint with molten edges still present on some of the letters. Model 26, probably a pretty early Conklin lever filler, similar in size and shape to the Waterman 52 (but a bit more elegant).
Number 2 Toledo nib, a stub or italic nib with a fine lateral line and fat downstroke. It's also flexible, so that downstroke can be made wider. It's a lot of fun for a variety of u...ses -- capable of chisel-nib styles like italic, but also capable of a very attractive pointed-pen writing. Great for everyday use too. In terms of the degree of flexibility, I'd say it's a little more stiff that the typical 1920s Waterman No. 2. See the writing samples.
Lever filler, restored with new sac installed. Length about 5 3/8 inches.

The writing samples were made with the pen itself, dipped in Waterman Intense Black ink. The paper is a Rhodia pad with 5mm squares.
