You are bidding on a Justice Blatchford Bobblehead Certificate, contained just after page 195 in the Spring 2019 issue of The Green Bag. The certificate will come inside the entire issue. Please read the below information very carefully - this is for a *certificate* with no guarantee of redemption (though I have redeemed certificates several times without issue, I just don't have the time to get down to DC in the near future), it must be redeemed in Washington, DC, and there are no ret...urns.
Certificate states:
The bearer of this certificate might be able to exchange it for one of our new Justice Samuel Blatchford bobblehead dolls, subject to the following conditions:
First, redemption of this certificate must be done in person, not via post, because our bobbleheads are too fragile for us to ship with confidence they will arrive in good shape. Besides, it would be too expensive.
Second, proxies are permitted. The Green Bag will not insist that the person seeking to redeem this certificate be the same as the person to whom it was originally issued. So, please do not lose this certificate. If you do, you will also lose any bobblehead that might be associated with it.
Third, originals only. We will not respond to a photocopy, fax, scan, or other reproduction of a certificate. Fourth, the Green Bag reserves the right to refuse to redeem any certificate for any reason, including but not limited to (1) a shortage of dolls, (2) reasonable or unreasonable suspicion of theft or forgery of a certificate, (3) rudeness by a person seeking to redeem a certificate, or by that person’s agent, and (4) caprice.
Fifth, if you end up with a bobblehead, we hope you enjoy having it as much as we enjoyed making it.
