A Beautiful Antique, Late 19th Or Early 20th Century, Turkish Hand Hammered Copper Double Brass Handled Small Ovoid Pot. It Has A Gorgeous Deep Milk Chocolate Patina, That Only Comes With Time, Age, And Use. I Have Not Been Able To Identify The Exact Use For Or Reason This Piece Was Made. Culture/Region And Age I Have Been Able To ID With Other Examples, But No One Seems To Know The Use Of This Piece. My Guess Is Some Type Of Storage Container Or A Personal Water Vessel For Heating And... Bowling Water. The Opening It So Small To Eat Or Serve From, But Not To Pour From And It Has Brass Handles On This Small Piece For Ease Of Handling For A Reason; Most Likely To Avoid Heat. It Measures Approximately 4 1/2" Tall x 6" Diameter At The Handles And 5" Diameter Not. It Is In Excellent Age Appropriate Condition, With One Small Shallow Dent Towards Its Equator (Not A Hammering Point). See The Attached Photos For Exact Item Details And Condition.
