This is the Early Original MCMLXXII(1972) Columbia production, not the later Mount Joy & more recent items
Great Condition, HIGHLY Polished Inside with Some Apparent Utensil Marks
I have freshly polished the inside of this bowl multiple times inside & out so it's smooth as ice to the touch!

Take a look around, you'll see LOTS of junked bowls with stains, tarnish, chaulky feel & issues but you won't find ANY this NICE & well taken care of with a FRESH polish on it, CONDITION is EVERYTHING!
My refurbishing work is impeccable bringing these vintage & some of them going on 50 years old!Please understand though it may be considered a labor of love that it takes a lot of time & physical labor, hand polishing, sweat & materials to accomplish the taskI use a variety of brushes, different grades of steel wool, dish washing liquid, sponges, cotton towels & special metal polish which none of these are freeWhen I offer items for auction the opening bid price barely covers the cost of the item before I commit my time & materials to achieving the finely finished end product for your considerationI do this because I grew up with this Armetale "pewter ware" & many of the items you find for sale here are in far below average condition & far from good
I want to be able to offer people who also like these items, pieces that are in top condition the likes of which you will not find available ANYWHERE because nobody else selling these items really cares enough to even know which series they sell is the correct name for it etc. let alone what decent condition is for this stuff, trust me, I see more junk out there than items I would actually put directly into service without some level of refurbishmentIf you have as much experience as I with this stuff than you will instantly notice the difference in what you get from me over anyone or anywhere else
Armetale Pewter Ware made by Wilton RWP contains no actual pewter but is instead made from a special alloy of 10 different metals called "Armetale" which offers superior hot or cold temperature retention FDA approved for food safe useOven & freezer safe
Wilton manufactured this utilizing old time sand cast foundry work which gives their products a nice chunky authentic & rustic feel built to last for generations

From my experience, I estimate what the cost of shipping will be to the farthest shipping zone from me which is East Coast, then round up to the next dollar & add $2. On the occasion when you may live closer or the shipping costs end up being less than what you paid, I issue the difference over $2 as a partial refund after time of shipment & once I've had a chance to enter the tracking info for you so that you may follow shipment progress to your door
All items will be clean & neatly packaged with personal care & consideration. New, as well as recycled packing materials are used to help minimize costs & most importantly create a less wasteful impact on our earth
