RARE 1900's JAMES McCall Kaumagraph Transfer Pattern #497 Infant Cap (C9 64)
Includes instruction on the envelope for making the embroidery pattern, cutting out the cap pieces and for the Hot Iron Process. Includes an extra Kaumagraph embroidery sheet as shown in the last 2 photos. The 4th photo shows the 3 uncut pieces for making the hat with the embroidery pattern stamped onto that sheet - the sheet for this design had a tear which was taped closed. I don...'t know if the pattern was ever stamped onto fabric or not. The envelope has a fac-simile of the signature of James McCall which identifies all original McCall patterns from that time period - the envelope is torn into 2 pieces and is fragile with some edge pieces missing - the patterns are in good condition.See my other items on eBay for many more doll & baby clothes patterns.
