Selling restoration parts for an antique Millers Falls treadle scroll saw lathe combo. This is the scroll saw attachment for the lathe bed. I am disassembling this item for easy shipping. This fits in a large flat rate box. These are good restoration parts. I believe that the blade holder opposite of the clamping side is worn or broken (see the pictures) The wooden arms are in decent shape no cracks but wear and age is seen. The castings are all in good shape. I have bee...n collecting tools for nearly 30 years. So most items that I sell I have acquired through the years. Most of items that I sell are tools. If you are looking for something specific tool related I may have it. I always try and start my bid price low. reason being if I spend a lot of time cleaning and refurbishing I will raise the prices. When bidding please examine the pictures closely. Most of my items are between vintage and antique so the tools have not been in my possession since new and parts may of been changed years ago. I do my best to photograph all sides and many angles to help bidders decide if they want to bid. I will always try and list all defects seen. that being said there may be unseen defects. I will always take returns on my mistakes. If an antique item is being put back into normal service it should work fine. But as with any antique vintage tool past manufacturing processes were not always consistent. I always try and ship priority. But if shipping is too costly please contact me before bidding I can change carriers or method used. Flat rate boxes work great in the USA. Keep in mind my shipping prices are only good in the USA. I use the eBay global shipping program. I am unaware as too the charges that they will bill you for shipping. Example, if I offer free shipping that means no shipping is being billed by me. On your screen the price you see is what global shipping will charge you. For international shipping I always try and enter correct package dimensions and weight. that way no surprise up cost in shipping.Buyers from other countries may be billed import taxes. Some species of wood used on antique tools are not allowed to be shipped outside the USA.I do not clean, polish, or alter items that I sell. The main reason is there are too many differing ideas on the correct methods. I use what works for me on my tools that I keep. So if cleaning or restoring is desired that is up to the purchaser.I will list the tools or items as users if all components are included to use the tool. A user means it has been used and there are user marks. Examples are previous owners names engraved, file, sharpening marks, paint missing etc. A user also means that I did not notice any defect that renders said tool unusable. Also with user tools sharpening is up to the purchaser if said tool needs to be sharpened. With user tools there also may be surface rust if heavy pitting is seen I will note that. If an item is display worthy I will also note that. Items sold as parts or restoration will be exactly that parts to restore other tools or the items will need to be restored. So please check the pictures well and remember that you are bidding on tools that may be over 100 years old. If I misrepresent any part of my listing please contact me. I will accept returns or partial refunds on missed defects or misrepresentations. The warranty's on antique and vintage tools I am sure have expired except a few makers that still honor them.
