This is a Conway Stewart fountain pen - Conway 93 in Blue Pearl Herringbone which dates from the 1950's. It has a capped length of 12.4cm and is a lever-filler with gold-plated trim. The barrel imprint reads 'Conway 93. Made in England'. The lever bears the CS logo and the imprint on the Medium nib reads 'Conway, 14ct Gold. 3'. It can be seen that the cap has three bands and the diamond-pointed clip bears the CS logo. The pen is in lovely condition. There are no cracks, scratches or... dings, the barrel imprint is well defined and there is very minimal surface wear. There is no wear to the trim and the nib is very good.I have overhauled the pen and replaced the sac. The lever operation is smooth, the pen fills nicely and is a lovely writer. This is a very attractive Conway fountain pen which would look at home in any collection.
