This clock is an absolutely exceptional champleve mantel clock and probably the very best which i have had the pleasure to own, the quality to it is second to none and its all totally original ormolu finish is just the icing on the cake. A spectacular clock which is in amazing condition and would take pride of place in anyone's collection and you will be very hard pressed to find another champleve clock of this quality The case features a fantastic ornate case design with an architectural caddy top design which gives it an awesome display look, all of which is in excellent condition and has an amazing display look to it as I am sure you can see from the pictures. To the corners you have matching champleve decorated corinthian pillars with matching finials to the top
The front and sides of the case is surrounded in these rare iron red, cobalt blue and cream coloured champleve enamels absolutely amazing decorations which are just outstanding and the very finest champleve enamels i have seen. The quality and detail to them is fantastic and the colours are all bright and vibrant, the case itself is a spectacle as it draws your eyes to it from every angle The bronze case has all its totally original ormolu finish which even with its perfect proportions just looks spectacular on display THE DIAL The clock features a high quality gilt bronze and champleve dial with black Roman numerals and original hands. The dial is in excellent condition for age with matching champleve decoration to the centre and is protected by its glazed brass bezel THE MOVEMENT The movement is also of high quality being an 8 day French gong striking movement with an anchor escapement which strikes the gong on the half and full hours counting the hours on the hour. The movement is in full working order keeping time and striking when it should, the movement comes with its french pendulum and a new winding key

If on the rare occasion you receive a clock that has a problem or does not work after initial set up and adjusting by a professional person then we reserve the right for you to return the mechanism for repair by myself
There will be no refunds if the mechanism needs repair. I reserve the right for the mechanism to be returned to me for repair
I offer a 6 months return to base warranty on all my mechanisms (unless stated not working in description)
In case of a problem after a professional has attempted to set the clock up you can return the mechanism back to me for repair
Please do not take the mechanism to a local clock maker/repairer as this will render the warranty void. All repairs needed to the mechanism will be carried out by myself and not by a 3rd party clock maker/repairer unless agreed by myself beforehand. please contact me in the first instance to arrange return of the mechanism for repair by myself
Shipping the mechanism back to me will be at the buyers cost and i will pay to get the mechanism back to you after repair
All repair costs will be met by myself for 6 months after purchase. If a mechanism is faulty after 6 months then i can offer a repair service for a discounted price but this cost will be met by the buyer if after 6 months of purchase
