Offered here is a vintage RPPC postcard, dated 1916 during the Mexican Revolution, showing the firing squad execution of a prisoner in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Prisoner #1, Francisco Rojas, is shown here beginning to buckle after being hit by multiple bullets of the firing squad. A cloud of gunsmoke trails behind his bullet riddled body.
This photo is part of a series of photographs depicting the execution of three condemned prisoners for allegedly stealing military supplies. The victims, Francisco Rojas, Juan Aguilar and Jose Moreno were executed on January 15th, 1916, at the Northwest Railroad Station, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
CONDITION
Postcard measures approximately 5.5" x 3.5" and is in good condition. Postcard is in unposted condition.
