“The Victor” Miller Victorian Brass Oil Lamp
Item History & Price

Up for your consideration is an E. Miller “The Victor” brass oil lamp. I estimate it is 127 years old. Has an ornate cast iron base with gold paint that has no visible rust. I personally have not seen another one like it. This lamp appears to be in fairly good condition. Given the intricate Art Nouveau details of the lamp, I estimate it is from the 1890s—certainly Victorian in style. It comes with a 10-inch ...shade tripod holder and flame spreader, which is dated June 7, 1892. The wick raiser operates smoothly, though I have not tested the lamp itself. Please be aware that I have priced this lamp such that it does NOT include the glass ruby quilted shade, which by itself is valued at around $70, unless you wish to negotiate its price. This lamp is 13 inches tall from its base to the flame spreader.
I am not an oil lamp expert, but this lamp would certainly make a fine addition to any collection.
