A crude applied lip whittled 1870s kidney shaped demijohn bottle with its original wicker covering. The bottle is hand blown in mold, bimal.....crude applied tapered collar.....teal or deep rich aqua color.....crude whittled glass....oval "kidney" shape.....9 1/2"tall.....Glass bottle itself is in excellent condition with only one small shallow chip on underside edge of lip. Wicker covering has two handles.....two bad spots where wicker is missing, but it allows you to see the crude wh...ittled glass underneath. A nice old 1870s bottle.
