Original Description:
This is an antique brass miners cap lamp which  stands 4 1/4 inches high; measures 3 1/2 inches wide and it dates to between 1900 - 1930.  The lamp was made by  the Premier Lamp & Engineering Company Ltd. of Leeds, England and the firm's name is to be found impressed on to the top of the lamp and also on the bottom.  The condition is good with no splits or cracks but there are some small "dings" to the bottom of the lamp but nothing that detracts in any way.&nbs...p;   For accuracy in my description I will point out that there is a small spot of soldering to the round knob of the lever on the top of the lamp. A good clean will be in order but I will leave this to the buyer.  This antique brass miners cap lamp, made by the Premier Lamp & Engineering Company Ltd., would make an ideal gift or a great addition to any collection.
