Vintage Thorens TD 124 Turntable with SME 3009 Tonearm TESTED. Condition is "Used". Very nice and clean thorens td124. With the shure sme 3009 tonearm in great shape. It has a B/O Denmark elliptical diamond sp12 cartridge/needle. This unit plays good once the motor warms up. But on a cold start it may take a few minutes for it to reach desired speed. Not sure if it’s the motor/belt or the idler wheel that would be causing this. But after warming up it’ll reach desired speed in unde...r 5 seconds. The wood cabinet is in great shape. The black wood part of the plinth has signs of cracking (shown in picture) nothing major. The mushroom grommets are dried out in all locations and should get new ones but these aren’t a necessity for usage. The bubble in the level is dried out and non existent.
