Excellent condition. Tested and proven functional. All the lights work, the controls all work. I ran a sound source through aux in and phono in and checked for good audio. Pots were smooth with no crackle when adjusted. Both A and B speaker outs tested fine. Amplifier face rates a 9.5 out of 10. No dents, dings, gouges or other big flaw. Wood sides in excellent condition also. AM/FM pulled in a few stations without an external anten...na wire. Again there was no noise from the controls and they were smooth and linear. I couldn't figure out how to get sound through Tape In but I'm guessing it works fine.
I have a box that is suitable already. The FM antenna in the back is vulnerable so it gets a block of Styrofoam surrounding it and taped in place. The knobs in the front are also vulnerable so a block of styro is taped across the face and extends beyond the buttons. Then another inch of styro is put in front and back. Sides get a couple inches too. I may remove the knobs and put them in a sack because I'm still not happy with the protection they're getting. If I can get the knobs off easily then I'll move the switches to the up position and tape another block of styro along the bottom. I usually have about 2" of styro on the bottom along with some big bubble wrap. The primary danger to the unit is dropping it on one of the box corners. The styro on the bottom and sides takes care of that. Damage rarely occurs to the top of the unit so it gets a liner of big bubble wrap and an inch or two of styro.
If you have any questions or concerns please send me a note, and thanks for looking!
