Fisher 400-C Tube Preamp with Wood Case. It's somewhat cosmetically challenged but could be refurbished to be nice looking. The faceplate has a had a hole drilled in it for a 1/4" jack. It was well done, but cuts into the lettering a little. I'm not sure what it was for, but seems to be an input accessible from the front. The wires go to some terminal strips on the back which are missing the additional wires that would have continued to the chosen inputs. Inside the chassis it appears ...to be unaltered. The chassis has a layer of atmospheric funk settled on it which I think would come off with naphtha or the like. It does not include the tubes or the tube shields. It's also missing the knobs on the vertical blade switch selectors. The cabinet needs to be re-glued at the top joints and refinished. I have never tested it so it is sold as is for repair or parts, but I have no reason to think it could not be electronically restored to fully functional condition, which is what I'd intended to do with it. If someone were to clean up the chassis, polish the faceplate, clean the knobs, glue the top on the cab and sand and oil finish it they could have a decent looking, great sounding unit at a modest price.
