Exquisite Quality Antique Chinese Solid Silver Cigarette Case c1890
Skilfully hand made it features a magnificent finely hand chased 4 clawed fiery Dragon on one side and exotic birds among bamboo on the other; all in deep repousse. The details are exceptionally fine, intricate and sharp. I cannot see a makers mark but it is one of the best ones I have seen and is clearly a good maker
Tactile and beautifully proportioned at 86mm x 85mm.
It is well made from a... good gauge of solid silver and is heavy at 109.3g
