Here's another nice, clean EICO model 666 tube and transistor tester from my collection. It's the model with all the old 4, 5, 6 and 7-pin sockets that you restoration buffs are looking for, along with the more modern 8-pin octal & loctal and 7 & 9-pin miniatures.The EICO 666 and 667 are the last and the best of the EICO tube testers. They differ only in the test sockets. This is the one you want if you're working with vintage electronics.This tester is in especially nice condition, a...nd the chart rolls from end to end without binding. It comes with a complete reprint of the operation manual, which includes maintenance instructions and the schematic diagram. Also included is the 1-1-78 Data Manual. This was the last data manual produced for the EICO 666, and was intended to completely replace the roll chart. It has much more data than could be included on the internal chart, as well as newer preferred settings for many tubes, plus settings for use with the Coletronics B-16/Eico 110A Socket Adapter. Included, too, is EICO's Supplement Data Chart plus a clean re-print of EICO's other supplemental data which includes data on most obsolete and seldom used type tubes including all those two and three-digit ones that you'll find in your vintage radios. Even the 01A is included, as well as the more common 27's, 45's, etc. This booklet also contains interchangeability information with European tube types and industrial 4-digit equivalents, plus transistor test data.
