Up for auction a used Marantz PMD 430 Professional Audiophile Stereo Cassette Recorder with 4 New Ampex 672Tapes and 2 RCA to 1/4" converters.
This unit has has recently been used for "tape effects" to mix in lo-fi sound in hi-fi digital recordings. These unitshave an amazing tonal quality and diverse range of functions and parameters. One of the best portable cassette recorders ever made!
Tested and all functions are working well. Sold As-Is.Comes with 4 unopened Ampex 672 ...tapes and 2 signal converters (pictured).Normal wear and tear for a used unit this old. I bought this from a previous owner many years agowho ran an electronics store so there are some stickers reflecting that. Doesn't effect the sound one bit.
