ANCIENT ROMAN BRONZE LARGE SEAL RING EMPERORS MONOGRAM - 1ST TO 3RD CENTURY A.DThis ring was probably worn by a males Roman Soldier. Its most likely to be the monogram of the reigning emperor of the time or one of his officials, it will need research. It is large in size and comfortable to wear. It can be professionally polished to high gold gloss but I prefer the patina. It would have been worn by a high ranking soldier/ official, also as a unique identification seal.Sc...arce and will make a perfect addition to any Roman ring or seal ring collection. The bronze ring has expanding shoulders and raised oval flat bezel with monogram possibly representing an Emperor of high status individual. Fine condition, a really nice example with excellent patina.
