KIRK STERLING COFFEE POT c1905 HAND DECORATED - 32 OUNCES
A large and very fine, turn of the century S. Kirk & Son sterling silver coffee pot.
Completely hand decorated at the factory.
A perfect example of the firm's turn of the century workmanship.

In classic tapering urn form, with scrolling folded leaf decorativeband to shoulder, stem and along of the stepped edge ...base.
All over hand carved leaf and floral sprays, raised in exceptionally highrelief, above the satin like background surface.Ruffled gadroon inset shoulder and cover's edge.Cover retains the original classical urn finial, finished with smooth surface - striking contrastto the heavily chased surfaces which surround.Flower mount swan's neck spout.
Hand engraved Leaf and flower tapering handle, retains the original heat stops.Buyers must obey state law on purchase of items with a bit of material from endangered species.
Never monogrammed.
Hallmarked as shown S. Kirk & Son Co. 925/1000. &also stamped with the letter "F" perhaps for the final chaser (decorator).

Appears little used.
