These 4 pieces are individual components but were made to be used with each other and came as a set. The turntable and equalizer connect to the amplifier with the supplied ribbon cables. The tuner ribbon cable was damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced for it to function properly. There are some scratches and dings to the cases (they were produced in 1986). Here is what you get:
Sanyo Integrated Amplifier Model JA 688 - Tested and... working - 120 watts per channel, A and B channel speaker connections, inputs for Phono, CD, and TV/Video, 120v/100w AC outlet on the rear of the unit, LED power level indicator, puts out some great powerful sounds!
Sanyo AM/FM Stereo Tuner Model JT 688 - The connector on the end of the ribbon cable that hooks into the amp came off. I have included it along with some extra extension ribbon cable if you want to try and reattach it. It might also be possible to wire directly into the amp (it depends on how "handy" you are.) This tuner was working last time it was hooked up. It features 12 FM and 6 AM Station presets and has connections for the AM/FM antenna on the rear of the unit.
Sanyo Stereo Graphic Equalizer Model EG 688 - Tested and working - It has RCA connectors on the rear of the unit if you want to hook up a tape deck to this system.
Sanyo Belt Drive Turntable Model TP 688 - Tested; needs a tonearm counterweight to play records properly. There is a working cartridge/stylus attached but without the counterweight the needle lays too hard into the vinyl. The auto return is also not fully functioning properly, but this also may be due to the missing counterweight. The dust cover for the turntable is gone.
