For sale is this antique hand forged, blacksmith forged straight peen hammer head, weighing 3lbs.10.6 ounces. Signed only "5lb.", it measures 5" long, with a 2-1/4" straight peen, a 1-1/4" X 2-5/16" face, with a 11/16" X 15/16" oval eye. {remnants of the handle remain as pictured. There is chipping on the edges of both the face and peen as pictured. Although this is a warrior that's had a tough life, I doubt seriously that it ever weighed 5 pounds.{??} Please view all of the pictures t...o determine condition for yourself.
