The transformer is not labeled but it was made in Japan by Tamura, in the early 1960's
this transformer offers 240, 115, 105, and 100 AC imput voltage. This will cover voltages required in most of the world.
It offers four 6.3 voltages, Two at 1....5 amps, one at 1 amp, and one at .6 amps. I use one of the 1.5 amp windings for a pair of 6SN7 tubes and the other 1.5 amp windings for a 6AX5 slow warm up rectifier tube. I also use one of the other 6.3 windings for a pilot lamp.
The transformer offers 300 volts B+ 300-0-300 which is perfect for your 45 tube. All you need then is a small 2.5 volt filament transformer for the filaments on your 45 tubes and you are all set.
Notice the giant thick copper band around all the windings. It goes all around the transformer. This will stop radiation of magnetism from other transformers. The outside metal shield is made from a special MU metal that stops magnetism from the laminations, and can be removed and painted along with the top and bottom cover. If a power transformer of this quality was produced today I am sure it would cost over 300.00.
From the base to the top it is 3 1/4 inches, it is 4" deep and 3 1/4 long. The mounting bolts are 3 1/4 and 2 1/2 apart.
PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS, from time to time. Because I OFFER HAND MADE CUSTOM TUBE AMPLIFIERS, many using these high quality Tamura power transformers.
If you would like a custom color or have special requests ask me, I might be able to do a custom build for you.
Check out some of my other designs and amplifiers. It is not my site but they describe single ended custom amplifiers. glowinthedarkaudio. Thanks Alan Eaton amplifiers
