A rare and exceptional mid-century modern occasional table designed by John Van Koert for Drexel Furniture. Van Koert combined mid-century modern ceramics with fine woodwork to produce these exceptional tables in 1956. The table features a unique glazed ceramic base, with a gorgeous sculpted cherry wood pedestal and top. No two of the ceramic bases on these tables are the same as they were individually glazed. An outstanding addition to any modern or mid-century modern environment. The... base is in original condition and the wood has been refinished. Overall the table is in excellent condition.

The buyer is responsible to communicate with the shipper to make delivery arrangements. We do our best to offer a realistic cost estimate for shipping by freight. It can take up to a week to find a reasonable price for shipping. Some freight shippers work alone and the buyer may be expected to help carry furniture. We also welcome local pick up in South Bend, IN, or we can arrange delivery within 100 miles (including Chicago and Indianapolis) for a reasonable fee.
