Antique Japanese Woodblock Book * 1795 Text on Stage Traditions
Rare 6 1/4 by 9 inch antique Japanese book, dated 1795.
Not sure of the title, but this book has many illustrations of elements related to stage performances.  You can see classical scenes, masks, hats, props, musical instruments, fans,    fake beards, comic masks of people and animals, etc.  
This is an antique book and is in POOR condition.  Someone used the top margin (and sometime...s other parts of the pages) to clean their calligraphy brushes, leaving a lot of ink marks.  Two pages are torn along the edges as well, and there is some moth eating.  Please look at the pictures to see the damage.  This is an AS-IS item (but were it not so there'd be another digit on the price!)
