This auction is for a group of 5 tested vintage N.O.S Sylvania, Tung Sol, CBS/Hytron, RCA and Philco 12SN7GT/A series tubes. These were purchased from a West Virginia Radio and Television shop that had been closed since 1978. I passed through looking for directions. The shop was run down, but there were shelves of N.O.S and good used tubes. I am an antique dealer by trade and musician and found this venture to be quite appealing to me. The store was literally lost in time. The tube box...es were very dusty, but they have been untouched since at the very least 42 years! I purchased the complete stock of thousands of tubes. This is for a group of 5 N.O.S vintage 12SN7GT/A tubes. From left to right include a N.O.S Sylvania 12SN7GT with date codes IF & BJC. A Tung Sol 12SN7GT with code 3225730-3 with non original box. A CBS/Hytron 12SN7 with code 5352 with original box, tests good but on the weak side. A RCA 12SN7GT with date code MA in the original box and a Philco 12SN7GTA with date code 1063 and AAD in the original box. The 5 tests good on a reliable Precision Tube Master 10-12. The CBS is on the weaker side but still shows good. I will be listing many other tubes over the next few months. I will combine shipping on these tubes. I hope my descriptions and photos help in your evaluation of these fine old tubes. It was a once in a life time find, and hopefully these will help you in your restorations and upgrades!
