Here we have one Girl Scout Gold Award Patch. This is the highest award for Girls ages 14-18 (Seniors and Ambassadors) and signifies completion of a Gold Award project. This award focuses on a girls interests and personal journey through leadership skills, career explorations, self-improvement, and service.
This award was updated and revised version was issued just this year - this is the NEW version that is available after 2011. You might not know there is a differ...ence if you don't know what to look for. In the old version, the biggest difference is a there is now a white background, instead of blue. Also, the rays in the sunburst are now filled in, as opposed to being hollow, and the bottom of the trefoil in pointed instead of rounded.
This award is only available with approval through the council to girls that have actually completed the project, so this parch can be hard to come by for collectors! *Note: While this is an earned award, it is only for wear on the back of the sash.

About Item Condition
Condition is very important to collectors! 99% of the items I list are in excellent used to mint unused condition. If they are not, I will better explain their condition in the first paragraph of the listing. You might not receive the exact item pictured, but you will receive one of comparable quality.
Here is a general breakdown of my condition definitions:
Mint = Looks perfect, no visible flaws
Excellent = Nearly perfect. May have one or two pinholes, scratches or other minor imperfections
Very Good = Has several noticeable imperfections, but still looks nice overall.
Good/Average = Has many sewing/pin holes, stains, scratches, etc. Often still usable, but not always very "pretty"
Poor = Very obviously damaged, stained, ripped, etc. Only recommended for very high dollar and/or extremely rare items. Good "hole fillers" in collections
About Payment
Payment is appreciated within 10 days of purchase. I am glad to work with you if more time is needed, but PLEASE let me know. As long as buyers communicate, I don't mind waiting a few extra days. Current state tax rates will be applied to all purchases for buyers in California.
