Vintage DEC Digital PDP11 PDP-11/45 Front Panel - 1973.
For your consideration is a complete PDP-11/45 Programmer's Console (aka - Front Panel) that was removed from a PDP-11/45 system that I parted out in 1984. The last photo shows this system 'in action.' As I said in an earlier listing, my good intentions were to interface it to something smaller, quieter and less power hungry and create a blinkenlights wall ornament, however this console ended up spending the last 36... years quietly packed away. Overall, this is another very clean example of a Magenta and Rose PDP11 front panel.
I've included close-up photos of some minor cosmetic imperfections: - paint wear on the lower right bezel - small nick on key 5 - paint wear on the lower left bezel - mild rash and paint loss on rear left edge of bezel - paint lifted along left edge of the back (see photo #3) - a small spot of matte finish missing to the right of the pdp11/45 logo (hint: don't use scotch tape!!) - a small spot of matte finish missing to the left of the Data selector switch
