Hi Apple II Fans:
I have just found a CFFA3000 prototype that I hand assembled from 2013 in a box. This board was made from a small sample of PCBs I purchaed from Sierra Circuits when I was thinking of changing away from Advanced Circuits PCBs.
I never made the change because they were almost twice as expensive. Although Sierra's PCB quality did appear to be better. Anyway, the only down side with this unit is the card-edge fingers are NOT gold plated. This means they will corrode ...slowly over time, and that means you will need to clean the contacts from time to time with a cotton swap and some Isopropyl alcohol. I should think cleaning once ever 4 months should be plenty.
The unit is new but was sitting in a box since mid 2013.
This unit comes with my standard 30 day return policy (for any reason) and a 1 year product defect warranty. In reality, I will fix it if something breaks as long as I am able, well past 1 year.
This auction includes:1) Prototype green CFFA3000 Apple II Interface card as pictured.
2) A 128MB CF card (contains the manual in PDF, the firmware, and some starter images) not pictured.
3) An optional remote switch to allow switching between floppy images files when using the Disk II emulation.
You can learn more about the CFFA3000 you can go to the project web page: dreher.net.There are also several good videos on you tube:

2) Foreign bidders may be required to pay additional taxes / import duties to your government import officials.3) I will NOT write "gift" on the customs form for foreign orders so please don't ask.4) I am the original manufacture and builder of this product.5) The solder I used to assemble this card contains Lead (Pb). Please don't eat this card!
Thanks, -Rich
