1999 Apple iMac 400 G3 DV BLUEBERRY Model M7493LL/A. RARE Complete in original box with all the original parts, packaging, plastic covers, twist ties, manuals, papers, CD disks, mouse keyboard, and cables! Acquired many years ago from the original family who purchased it brand new and used lightly and kept it all together and very well preserved and stored in the box. Smoke-free environment. Everything is clean and nice. Great collectible set ready for dis...play! System boots and runs, keyboard and mouse work, the internal slot-loading DVD drive is NOT functioning, will not insert or read disks, which is a very common problem with these systems. Any external DVD or CD drive will work with this system via the external USB ports on the iMac. I played the included A Bug's Life DVD via an external USB drive (not included) as shown. Also, the front plastic bezel inside the iMac unit is cracked with a couple pieces broken off as can be seen from the sides, see photos. This is a very common issue with the G3 models as the inner bezel is just a very thin and brittle plastic, so cracks easily under the weight of these units unfortunately, many G3 iMacs now have this same issue. It has no impact on the operation of the iMac of course. The inner bezel could be replaced with one from a non-working G3 DV 400 donor unit, but would require both systems be fully disassembled. I have left it alone as the inner bezel as it just an interior cosmetic issue seen from the sides since the case is translucent.Complete in box original G3 sets like this are hard to find now 20+ years later, great to collect and display! Original Apple retail box has all the internal packaging foam holders, original plastic covers, accessory kit box, all original manuals and papers, all original disks in disk holder, etc. Manuals and papers are crisp and nice. System is very complete and nice. Box has original labels, in excellent condition compared to most that still exist, stored well to keep nice. All photos of the exact items buyer will receive. Sold as-is, vintage system for collectible purposes, continued operation not guaranteed, 20+ year old system and parts can fail at any time due to age. As stated internal DVD drive is not working. Original Apple box will be placed inside an outer large 22" square shipping box to protect, size of Apple box will not allow any room for added padding between the boxes. Apple box is very large, and extremely heavy considering this is a large CRT based system, so shipping cost reflects the considerable size and weight once packaged and double boxed, it is over-sized.See my selling feedback and star ratings from buyers, all items exactly as described, smoke-free, and packaged well to protect. eBay member under this same account since 1999!
