HP OmniBook 425

HP OmniBook 425.This is a French version of the Omnibook 425. Windows 3.1 is in French and it includes an AZERTY keyboard. That didn't bother me, I quickly learned the French equivalents for Delete, OK, Cancel, etc. The MS Office Apps are in French  The communications programs are in English. Drive C with DOS and Windows is a 512MB CF card, which uses less power. I include 4 AA rechargeable batteries, which this 486 can run off of, but obviously, being a 486, l I mostly used it pl...ugged in. The batteries are nice to nice it from one place to another  Includes original AC adapter. The built-in mouse is a little wonky. To get it to come out, flip the laptop over and push it out with your thumbs. It works, but I prefer using the Kensington serial mouse which I've included. It's a nice laptop for the Retro enthusiast. The last laptop than ran off AA batteries. It also is instant on/ off like the HP LX palmtops once it is booted up.Note: Due to age, no warranty is given, but the photos were taken right before listing.
