It has the rare 275MHz/512k cache PowerMacintosh 5500 motherboard paired with a Power Macintosh 6500 chassis to getthe two PCI slots vs 1.
Case is in fair shape with some yellowing, a hairline crack in ...the front(please see pictures) and several assorted scuffs and marks

Newlogic board(here a 6500) is longer than the standard logic board of the colorclassic and the connector is on the other side(thank you Apple, that its onlylonger and not wider). That's why it describes a complete change of the of theinner case that a Power Macintosh board could be held into it. Tested and works great.I ‘m selling it just because I just bought a T.A.M

No internal speaker but you can use external speakers
Floppy drive works and can be used to transfer program on older mac without CDor internet
“Takky” modification:
- Original Color Classicmotherboard replaced with one from a Power Macintosh 6500/275- Internal plastic framemodified to accommodate both the longer motherboard- Screen resolutionmodification done to increase resolution from 512x384 to 640x480- Voltage regulator (3.3V)added to allow reliable use of PCI devices Very rare is the 2 PCI slots. One is currentlyused using by the network card, and the other one is free (please note that I haveinstalled a CF-RAM card on the space to allow transferring easily program froma PC to this Takky
You can add a USB card for example on the second slot
The original ColorClassic motherboard is not included. Because of themodifications performed to the machine in terms of the internal frame, thewiring harness, and the analog board an original Color Classic motherboardshould not be installed in the machine as it will not work andmay damage the board. I also just tested an external Apple CD-ROM 300, via the external SCSI and it's working too. This takky can read CD-ROM
