Reserve Bank of India 5 Rupees. Crisp and in good condition but has hand writing on the back of note. Appears to be pencil. See photo. Reference to a captain Bishop in the 11th Commando from WW2, see description below, possibly same. Found in my father's things when he passed. Most likely from WW2 as he was stationed in India.
