For sale is this incredible woodcut printing from an antique German book from the early 1500’s. This piece is believed to have come from the 1500AD German Edition of the Munsters Cosmographia. This would have been printed in the early days of the printing press! This beautiful piece was printed using the ancient wood block printing style. A stamp was hand carved out of a solid block of wood, and then used as a stamp to print this image. It is printed on paper and was once a part of a... larger book. Pieces like this look great framed or displayed. It is rare to find one in this condition. This piece is guaranteed authentic! It is a beautiful antique document and would fit perfect in any collection! Don’t pass it up!
